BFCDC’s Single Family Homes Program are always seeking ways to improve and create more economic stability for the purposed community. Through acquisitions of certain properties, we acquire them and bring them back to life ready to be sold to our qualified individuals and families that meet the low to moderate income criteria. BFCDC has a broad base of community leaders, activist, faith based and other partnering nonprofit support which helps us to be more specific to the needs of that area. Those individuals that are employed in schools, hospitals, transportation departments etc., have been shown that beautiful remolded homes that are energy efficient add more value, stability and security to their communities.

By providing these affordable and very important home ownership initiatives, BFCDC can leverage grants, loans and other equity funding instruments for the purpose of acquiring potential buyers with their new home. We can now assist those individuals and families that have been dealing with hardships from employment downsizing, displacements do to catastrophic weather, unreasonable rental pricing, vacancies in the local area adding to safety concerns just to name a few. Now we are able to add economic stability, beauty and a since of pride back to that community and local area.
